HOW DOES IT WORK?

Nonprofits like Capital Good Fund can now use Federal tax credits to reduce the cost of solar panels for low to moderate-income homeowners. The first round of Georgia BRIGHT will install solar panels on the homes of 200 Georgia households making less than $100,000 a year. We use Federal funding, grants, and discount bulk purchase discounts to bring your power bill down — saving the average family 20%** a month or about $10,000-$15,000 over the term of the lease.

HOW CAN I GET STARTED?

Fill out this short form and the trusted installers will contact you to get the process started. Please note that to qualify, you must:

  • Own your home
  • Have a roof in good condition**
  • Meet certain income requirements (no minimum credit score required)

OTHER RESOURCES

Georgia BRIGHT is proud to partner with trusted local solar installers:

* Zero upfront cost can not be guaranteed if the homeowner chooses a finance option outside of the Capital Good Fund BRIGHT Lease.

** This is an estimate based on an average system size of six kilowatts; a starting monthly utility bill of $135; and a 50% reduction in utility costs as a result of the solar system.
