Chief Operating Officer

Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a core member of the Executive Team who reports directly to the CEO and serves as the deputy officer when he is not available.

The COO will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
• Oversight, support and planning in the areas of financial coaching, loan origination, loan servicing, and information systems.
• Coordination of organizational strategy with Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, including geographic expansion of services, additional program offerings or loan products, and significant development initiatives.
• Close cooperation with the Systems team to develop and maintain information technology functions that support rapid organizational growth.
• Management of all aspects of the main office in Providence, and support of satellite worksites, including in Miami and Sarasota, Florida.

The Chief Operating Officer will receive extensive training on all of Good Fund’s programs and processes from the CEO and other team members. Such training may include several weeks of overlap with the outgoing COO for knowledge transfer.
This is a full-time, forty-hour-per-week position. The COO will earn an annualized base salary of $58,279. Job Description/Responsibilities:
This position is an opportunity to help a growing non-profit build strong, sustainable and diverse sources of philanthropic funding and loan capital as we expand to new markets. The Development Officer (DO) will work with the Development Manager to research, organize, report, and follow up on grants, individual donor appeals, and other fundraising activities. In addition, the DO will support our CEO as he works to secure the investments and loan capital necessary to sustain our operations and drive organizational growth.
• Conduct initial outreach to possible grantors and investors
• Manage the fundraising schedule, ensuring that letters of inquiry, grants, and grant reports are submitted on time
• Prepare background information on high net-worth donor and investor prospects in advance of meetings
• Assist in preparing, editing, and submitting grant materials
• Process incoming donations and investments
• Prepare acknowledgment and follow-up materials for donors and investors
• Work with the Systems Team and CEO to track and report on fundraising activities
• Work with the CEO and Director of Communications to develop a quarterly newsletter for investors

Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Loan Servicing Officer’s principal role is to maximize the social impact and financial performance of our growing loan portfolio by working closely with our borrowers and collaborating with the different departments in our organization. Periodic check-ins are key to clients making the most of the services we offer, paying on-time and building credit. We emphasize a high quality of service while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our loan fund. The Loan Servicing Officer carries out our collections strategy while fully complying with federal and state regulations surrounding debt collection. The Loan Servicing Officer will perform a variety of duties, including:
• Provide exceptional customer support to our borrowers
• Service loan accounts and work with existing clients to meet the lending goals of the Loan Servicing Department and our organization
• Schedule payments and check-in surveys
• Complete check-ins with borrowers to survey changes in family, finance, and health
• Follow the organization’s established strategies for debt collection, and suggest areas of improvement for the same in accordance with Federal and State regulations, as well as in accordance with the policies of the Loan Servicing Department and the organization
• Report to the rest of the organization on collections activities, social impact and financial performance as needed
• Work with a wide range of communication efforts with our existing borrowers, These lines of communication include but are not limited to phone calls, emails, SMS, and letters.

Project Description/Responsibilities:
We are seeking a contract Web Developer to build a PHP client that fetches data from the following external APIs to load into our Salesforce instance:

1) National Automobile Dealer’s Association (SOAP)
2) Transunion (Proprietary protocol)

The developer will add modules to an existing custom PHP library that we maintain in Heroku. We will provide access and documentation to the APIs, as well as support mapping the data to Salesforce.

This is a short term project with the potential for additional work in the future.

About You:
• Minimum 2 years of Web Development experience, with demonstrated success working with PHP and APIs required.
• Preference given to local candidates, particularly those with experience working with Heroku and/or Salesforce.

This is a 40 hour/week, full-time, exempt, at-will position. The Vice President of Investor Relations will earn an annual base salary of $53,179; performance bonuses may bring total compensation to as high as $75,000. In addition, he or she will receive a competitive benefits package that includes a bus pass, medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, fifteen days paid vacation, and five days paid sick leave in the first year on staff.

Client Services Officer

Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Client Services Officer is Capital Good Fund’s community ambassador, sharing information about the organization’s products and services with prospective applicants, building and maintaining partnerships with local organizations and leaders, and supporting existing clients. This position will focus on a program that supports those whose lives have been, and continue to be, upended by the tragic 2017 hurricane in Puerto Rico and U.S Virgin Islands, and its aftermath.

The Client Services Officer will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
• Travel throughout the region to sustain and build networks and community partnerships specific to the program and appear at community events;
• Conduct in-person meetings with clients needing special assistance and connect them to wraparound resources and local partner support;
• Support loan origination by responding to inquiries over the phone, in person and via online chat, collecting needed documentation from loan applicants, and informing applicants of loan and coaching services available from Capital Good Fund;
• Process applications for clients applying for a loan, in person or over the phone;
• Provide clients with feedback to improve their financial situations;
• Follow up with all applicants two to four weeks post-application to ensure that clients' needs are being met;
• Report on various aspects of the program as needed;
• Performing other responsibilities as appropriate.

Additionally, the Client Services Officer will receive training on various topics related to consumer lending. Client Services officer will be flown into Rhode Island headquarters for training with the Origination team for the duration of two weeks. Further training will take place remotely.

This is a full-time, forty-hour-per-week position. The Client Services Officer will earn an annualized base salary of $36,273.
