First DoubleGreen Credit Builder Loan Issued!

After months of planning and work, we are extremely excited and proud to announce that we have issued our first DoubleGreen Credit Builder Loan—the first and only of its kind in the United States—to Elizabeth Lopez of Providence (pictured above).  The loan will cover the cost of purchasing and installing a programmable thermostat in the restaurant owned by her husband and, at the same time, will allow her to begin to build a credit history.  Though she currently has no credit at all, she hopes that with the help of our loan and advice, she will be able to buy a home in the next few years.  Thus through the nine easy payments of $17 Mrs. Lopez will be able to build credit while the family business will see lowered energy bills.
