Oficina D.E.L.I.A. is a Providence-based organization with the mission to empower Latinos and immigrants through information, community education, leadership development, and policy advocacy. D.E.L.I.A. has been essential in connecting CGF with low and moderate-income individuals in the greater Providence region, particularly by allowing CGF to advertise its products on local Spanish radio station Poder 1110, helping to organize focus groups, referring clients to Capital Good Fund and providing feedback on CGF’s products and services (including providing the initial idea for launching a citizenship loan program).

The Swearer Center at Brown University is committed to inspiring students to be the social changemakers of today. Integrated in the Providence community, the Swearer Center combines a committed staff, core competencies, and student innovation to encourage sustainable community development. The Social Innovation Initiative (SII), housed at the Swearer Center, is at the heart of this approach. The Swearer Center was critical in the formation of the Capital Good Fund and continues to provide ongoing advisory and support to the organization.

Every Company Counts, an initiative of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, connects small businesses to the tools they need to succeed. ECC streamlines information about business development, financing programs, and special events designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. ECC also offers online learning tools like articles by business professionals and case studies of Rhode Island entrepreneurs.
The John Hope Settlement House
The John Hope Settlement House is a Providence-based organization dedicated to community capacity building. Since its inception in the 1920’s, John Hope has served an ethnically diverse population gain access to financial education, childcare, and overall personal development. The Settlement House has been a strong partner of CGF since day one, providing expert insight into the needs of local ow to moderate-income families and helping us reach this target market with our loan products.

The RISBDC is based out of Johnson and Wales University. It provides a variety of services for entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses. They develop close personal relationships with their clients so they can provide the best resources possible for them. They also offer classes and training for new entrepreneurs.

The International Institute of Rhode Island offers educational, legal, and social support to Rhode Island’s immigrant population. By working with people and families as they transition into life in the United States, the Institute assists clients in effectively gaining socioeconomic independence.

The College Hill Café, operated by Blue State and located on Brown University’s Campus, is a business committed to bettering the Providence community. Blue State has partnered with a number of community organizations in the city, including CGF, pledging 5% of its gross earnings each quarter to 4 local causes.

Grassroots.org

Grassroots.org is dedicated to using modern technologies to effect social change. Grassroots offers nonprofits a variety of free technology solutions to meet organizational needs, such as search engine optimization consulting, website creation and translation, and general business advisory. The organization plans to adopt 10,000 nonprofits and offer each $10,000 in free web tools each year, totalling a $100 million annual savings for these nonprofits.
English for Action

English For Action serves Latino immigrant families in Olneyville, RI by offering ESOL courses for Spanish-speaking men, women, and families. The organization strives to create a beneficial community that can be sustained outside the classroom through programs that focus on self-expression and leadership development.

The Intersect Fund
The Intersect Fund is a New Brunswick-based non-profit organization offering a host of services to low-income entrepreneurs in the area. As a fellow student-driven microfinance institution, Intersect Fund and Capital Good Fund have collaborated extensively, sharing best practices, developing innovative new products and services and jointly applying for funding.

The Environmental Justice League of Rhode Island (EJ League) is an alliance of individuals and organizations working together to promote environmental justice in Rhode Island through advocacy, education, networking, organizing, and research. We are led by Rhode Island residents who care deeply about our neighborhoods, the health of our children and ourselves, and who have come together to improve the environments where we live, work, and play. Our mission is to build power in the communities most affected by environmental burdens by developing leaders to take action to promote safe and healthy environments for all regardless of race, ethnicity, or income.
The BYFI Alumni Venture Fund

The Bronfman Youth Fellowship in Israel Alumni Venture Fund, BYFI Alumni Venture Fund, is a fund fully supported by donations from program alums and their families. The fund is intended to provide alumni of the program financial support in the development of creative initiatives for social change. The BYFI Alumni Venture Fund has supported the development of CGF’s green credit builder initiative through a monetary grant as well as valuable advice on program development.
Providence Housing Authority

Established in 1939, the Providence Housing Authority owns and manages 2,606 units of public housing and is contract administrator for approximately 2,500 units of Section 8 housing. Approximately 58% of its housing stock is designated for families with the remainder reserved for elderly and/or disabled individuals or families. The office of Immigration and Refugee Services, under the umbrella of the Office of Community Services of the Diocese of Providence, is a non-profit institution accredited before U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service and an affiliate of Migration & Refugee Services of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and a member of Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc.
Immigration Services include, Family Petitions, Religious Visa Petitions, and Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, Work Permit Renewals, Document Translations, Lawyer Referrals, Photos, General Consultations and Citizenship Classes.
The Capital Good Fund is a member of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce works to create a better local economy by supporting businesses through access to markets, networking opportunities and other services.
